TO CONSIDER DISTRICT COUNCILLORS REPORT AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

The Budget Meeting will be held on 19th February 2020.  There will be increases in all Council taxes.

The Chairman thanked Cllr Seymour for his help and support in the meeting with the planning, licencing and pollution which was very informative and answered many questions the Council had.

TO CONSIDER REPORTS FROM OUTSIDE AGENCIES AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

  1. Lincs Alert & Police.  Nothing to report
  2. Highways.  The footpath on Fishergate outside the Bowls Club is in need of attention and the road at Foremans Bridge.  Clerk to report.  RESOLVED
  3. CSW - volunteers and sites.  Cllr P Tidman volunteered to train with CSW.  The volunteers have been out and the reports are to be forwarded to the police.  More volunteers are required.  Clerk to place notice on Facebook and Magazine  RESOLVED
  4. Noise Nuisance.  A productive meeting took place on Friday 14th February 2020.  Any disturbances are to be reported to SHDC Pollution Department and complaints should be if the problem is causing distress.  The subject of concern has planning consent for commercial use for 18 dogs, and 1 year consent for commercial for 30 breeding dogs.  NOTED

TO CONSIDER PARISH MATTERS AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

  1. Chairman's Report.  As soon as weather conditions improve, volunteers will organise a general clear up day around the village.  The old Cherry Tree is now a stump and the new cherry tree is starting to blossom.  NOTED
  2. Councillor's Report.

The Bells Drove car park has been flooded and this will be monitored.

More dog clean up signs are to be stencilled onto the pathways.

A wildlife camera will be considered to note the variety and numbers we have around the village  NOTED

  1. Clerks Report - there was none
  2. Fly Tipping.  Concerns about the fly tipping have been reported with enquires about a skip service.  The one in Long Sutton is financed by them and is not a SHDC initiative.  The Parish Council does not have a budget for this  RESOLVED

  6. Email - Parish Website training booked 3rd March 2020  NOTED

  1. Play Areas - Bells Drove - Nothing to report  NOTED
  2. Hoyles Sports Field.  The water still has not been signed off as the water board did not attend site on the arranged day.  Clerk to chase  RESOLVED

The car park has not yet been re instated after Anglia Water used the land for storage.  Clerk to chase  RESOLVED

  1. Needham Green.  The land registration is on going, and it has been reported that a fence has been blown down  NOTED
  2. Magazine.  The October issue has been delivered.  More volunteers are required.  Cllr T Fisher has volunteered.  Clerk to place notice onto the village Face book and the magazine  RESOLVED
  3. Allotment - Registration papers  NOTED
  4. Playgroup.  Fund raising and general administration are ongoing.  NOTED
